Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Room 10 learnt about ‘C’ for cookies.

We made our very own Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies. We had fun taking turns measuring, mixing and then rolling the dough into balls. These actions required a lot of hand muscle work which is exactly what we wanted, as one of our focuses this term is to develop the muscles in our hands in order to improve our handwriting.

After all that hard hand work we baked the cookies until golden brown. Once we finished taste testing we brainstormed a range of words about how the cookies looked, tasted, felt and smelt. These words included delicious, tasty, warm, crunchy, soft, sweet, chocolaty, and melting. We then did some amazing writing with the help of those words.
